Yes, the term "boogers and haints" was coined by the late Georgia Rep. Ted Hanson
to describe displeasing, disgusting and even despotic items hidden in legislation.
"Farding" is a word derived from the French; it means any kind of  'face painting.'   It's usually used to refer to a woman applying her makeup, something Neal and the rest of us hate to see a woman do while she's driving.  So from time to time Neal will mention it on the air.
"Mipping and mupping" is radio industry slang for what someone on the air is doing when not speaking in any clear or understandable manner.  The term comes from the sound you get when playing a broadcast  tape after it was erased improperly ("mip mip mip mup mup mup").
And "puddin' stick" is a mountain term for instigator, often referring, as in Neal's case, to a mischief who deliberately brings up a very touchy controversy (like evolution), then steps back to watch, grinning like a satisfied troublemaker who successfully "stirred the pudding."
"Sales weasels" are the people who sell the time for all the sponsors' commercials on the radio stations and networks.  After all, as old sales managers like to say, "Nothing happens until somebody sells something."
The term "Tango Uniform" is the DOD, FAA, FCC, etc. approved way of saying the letters "T" and "U" in 2-way radio communications. The approved phonetic alphabet is also used by police organizations, where "Tango Uniform" most likely originated.  "T.U." of course, stands for "Toes Up" (the way anyone beginning his eternal celestial dirt nap is presented in a casket or, uh, on a morgue slab).
